Original caps. Disassembled and cleaned cap board.

Cap board ready for assembly. Completed power supply caps.

Dirty chassis. Cleaned chassis.

Blackface conversion. New screen & grid resistors. Back of amp cleaned up. New power cord and standby switch.

Original faceplate and new Vibroclone faceplate.

New tubes installed and amp fired up. New signal path Orange Drop caps and dual channel reverb mod.

New black tolex, gold sparkle grill cloth from Vintage Amp Restoration.

New road case from Rock Hard Road Cases. New Schumacher Twin Reverb OPT.

Mounted mid '60s original cone JBL D-130. Installed chassis and tube chart.

Final Product

What's left to do:

• clean and tighten tube sockets

• install new tubes, burn in and dc/ac test

• replace critical signal path coupling and tone caps with Orange Drops

• perform dual channel reverb mod

• install vibroclone faceplate, lube pots and input jacks

• receive cabinet from Gregg, build braided reverb cables

• receive road case from Rock Hard Road Cases

• install twin reverb output tranny

• assemble amp

• final test and voicing

• receive tilt back legs and install

• pack and ship
