PriceLess Amp Restoration
Vibroclone Estimate

Below you will find a link to a PDF file itemizing the cost for a Vibroclone from PriceLess Amp Restoration. The estimate includes all parts necessary to build a Vibroclone, but of course, parts used can vary based on the budget and tonal desires of the customer.

Being an estimate, certain parts like the cost of a Bandmaster Reverb (BMR) head, cabinet and speaker can also vary. Typically, the customer will locate and buy a BMR head and ship the head or just the chassis to me for restoration and conversion. Occasionally I have a BMR in stock, which I will sell to the customer for the same price I paid for it. For the cabinet, typically the customer will order the cabinet with my guidance and sometimes I will order the cabinet and float the cost of the cabinet until the entire amp is complete and ready to ship. Ditto, for the speaker. Frequently, I have several recone JBL D130's in stock. And sometimes the customers prefers a new production speaker or sometimes the customer buys a blown speaker, has it reconed and then has it dropped shipped to me.

Basically, I'm very flexible in acquiring the parts and will guide the customer the best I can. Often I find leads on BMR heads, cabs and speakers and pass the lead on to the customer. So use the below pdf estimate as a guideline and add or subtract the cost of desired, speaker, tubes, mods or the cost of what you feel it will cost for a BMR head and/or cabinet.

Note, that I did not include the cost of shipping the chassis, cab, speaker, etc., to me. Typical shipping cost are: ship BMR to me $35, shipping speaker for recone $30, shipping cabinet to me $35. The approximate shipping cost to ship the final amp back to the customer is $80. I've also learned the hard way, it's best to ship the chassis and cabinet/speaker in separate boxes as a Vibroclone weighs about 75lbs.
